Today, I attended a training on privacy and security online with Library Freedom Project‘s Alison Macrina at Mentor Public Library. I have been following Macrina’s work on Twitter for a while and was excited to participate in one of her trainings. I was already familiar with much of the content, but as a technology educator, I was interested in hearing how to communicate this information to the general public. I feel she may have overestimated the technical ability of the audience. Below are my notes from the session.
