Today, I worked a little bit on the Rolling Video Games video and started really working on the library’s website. I scanned through Learning from Libraries That Use WordPress by Kyle M. L. Jones and Polly-Alida Farrington and began drawing a new sitemap and jotted down notes.
I also discovered an incredibly helpful webinar from WebJunction, Enhancing Your Library’s Web Presence with WordPress. The webinar presenters used WordPress to build a website for a small, rural Colorado library without dedicated IT staff. This is certainly applicable to Perry’s situation! I will be sharing this and the book mentioned above with Brandon as we begin working on the website in earnest.
